The Pickled Painters

Our new show at the Colborne Street Gallery in Fenelon Falls, Ontario
is now on until mid October with an official opening on Sept 13th from 2 till 4.

Come and meet myself and my Pickled sisters as we will all be there for the opening.

Its been a hard time this last year without getting together with other artists to paint as I am normally a studio painter but with Covid that is out of the question. So,,, I have been occasionally meeting up with some artists to paint outdoors plein air,,,, a challenge for me. This particular piece was created on site in France a couple of years ago. I hope to have more to share as this spring properly engulfs us,,, giving us space and the weather to paint outside.

KOSHLONG LAKE ROAD

I don't do many landscapes as I am quite busy with other subjects but my piece, Koshlong Lake Road, has been one of the featured pieces to represent Durham artists at the Artist's Showcase in our MP Erin O'Toole's office. Thank you Mr O'Toole for this honour!
This piece will be available for viewing until Spring 2020 and available for purchase.

'SUMMER DAYS'
This recent acrylic piece has been entered into the 2019 Station Gallery's Members Exhibition. A new concept from what I understand with the artists doing the voting on the winners. This piece will be on display there from July 6th until September 8th,,, with the awards presentation and closing reception on Friday September 6th.

My Acrylic piece 'DAYBREAK'
has been chosen to be included in the Visual Arts Centre of Bowmanville's 39th Annual Juried Show. With only 17 pieces chosen for this show I am extremely honoured!
This show runs from Friday July 19th through Sunday August 25th.
The opening reception is July 19th from 6 till 8.

'GOING QUACKERS'

One of my acrylic pieces was chosen as the 2nd Place Winner at the 2019 Whitby Ribfest Art Show. I am incredibly honoured! This is the second year this art show has taken part in the Ribfest event.

THE MAYOR'S GALA 2019

Had a fabulous time painting and sharing my art with the guests of this fun and fabulous gala event held in Bowmanville every year to raise funds for local arts. This year I was painting on behalf of A Gift of Art in Newcastle.
